"Alina Lagoas began her professional dance studies at the age of nine at the National Conservatory of Lisbon where she remained until entering the School of American Ballet in New York City at the age of sixteen.
Alina went on to perform as a corifée and soloist at the National Ballet of Portugal, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and Royal Swedish Ballet, performing in various theaters internationally. Her broad repertoire includes roles in classical ballet, neoclassical and modern pieces of some of the most accomplished choreographers of our times.
Alina Lagoas is a qualified RAD and Alan Herdman Pilates teacher."

Utsav’s ‘Festival of Young Dancers’ will be held on Sunday 1st May, 2016 at Kamani Auditorium. The programme, ‘SU-TARANG, 2016 – A Celebration of Odissi Dance,’ is dedicated to Swachh Bharat. Young Dancers of Utsav will present Odissi choreographies created especially for the function. Please be seated at 5:45 p.m.
